Are locals really that bothered by tourists?

In my exploration of whether locals are truly bothered by tourists, results were mixed. Many locals appreciate the economic benefits tourism brings, but the influx of visitors can also strain resources and disrupt daily life. The level of annoyance seemed to correlate directly with the volume of tourists and the impact on the local lifestyle. It's clear that a balance needs to be struck between attracting tourists and maintaining the quality of life for residents. So, while locals aren't universally bothered by tourists, the impact of tourism definitely needs mindful management.
